Diablo 3 launcher not updating

Please note that it’s entirely up to you whether you wish to leave the app running—you can exit it at any time, and it will automatically re-launch whenever your standard launchers would. Once the open beta test ends, everyone’s launcher will be updated automatically when they start up the launcher for World of Warcraft, Star Craft II, or Diablo III.

As of Resurgence 1.3 the launcher does NOT work with Windows XP. Download the pre-requisites if you don't have them. Resurgence Launcher 2.0 is a complete re-write in C#. Make sure you have Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction (1.13c). Hit the 'English/Deutsch' button to translate the program into English.

The Resurgence launcher allows for: This launcher will ALWAYS check for a new version of the game every time you press PLAY, so you do NOT have to close/re-launch the launcher for updated patches (just to update the launcher itself). Make sure you have Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction (1.13c) and are on Windows 7 . NOTE: If your Diablo 2 or maphack directory is in Program Files or some other protected directory YOU HAVE TO RUN THE LAUNCHER AS ADMIN. This launcher should auto-update when you close = re-open the launcher. Set your D2 and BH directories via the "Launcher Settings" button. Select "Diablo 2 Resurgence" in the drop-down list in the "launcher settings", and set your Launcher/BH settings. If running in windowed mode via -w switch, also enable 'window-mode' under 'settings'.

Thanks again for all of your great feedback throughout the course of our testing, and we look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts on the open beta in the forums.

Important Note regarding 1.14a If you have clean installed Diablo using the 1.14a launcher you roll back to 1.13c. t=1181 The mod can be installed and updated either automatically (through the use of a custom launcher) or manually. Remember that you have to close & re-open the launcher to check for updates to the actual launcher. Run D2Vid found in your Diablo II installation folder. Run that you extracted into the installation folder.

Killing any of the agent processes that spawn (it spawns many) results in the launcher loading with an immediate error stating "There has been a communication error, please restart the launcher", restarting the launcher results in the process repeating againsince it didn't "install" yet - there is no entry in add/remove programs.

I have nothing in My Documents, I have the launcher files in C:\Program Data and I have removed all of those, I have cleared all of my various temporary file locations as per the recommendations, rebooted, ensured that none of the files had returned, etc etc - still doesn't get past that screenshot For whatever reason, Internet Explorer (which I never use) was set to "work offline".

This small add-on enables the use of GLIDE settings for Diablo II.
